Job summary

Uniphar Group’s Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballyphehane, Cork, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a busy dispensary team.

This 32-hour permanent role offers competitive hourly rates, great colleague discounts, a bike-to-work scheme and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballyphehane, Cork.

This is a 32 hour permanent position.

The team currently comprises a 1 Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist, 2 Technicians and 3 Healthcare Advisors.
