Job summary

Uniphar's Allcare store, Blakes in Celbridge, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team. This 40-hour (5-day) permanent position involves accurate dispensing under supervision, stock control, and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

You will prepare blister packs, process and track claims, and contribute to a caring, professional service for customers. Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage; new qualifiers welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare store, Blakes, in Celbridge.

This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position.

The team currently comprises a 1 Retail Store Manager, a Support Pharmacist, a Relief Pharmacist, 1 Technician and 2 Healthcare Advisors.
