Job summary

Uniphar is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for the Tony Walsh Allcare Pharmacy in Merrion. The full-time, 40-hour position operates from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, with Sunday off. The team includes a Store Manager, a Relief Pharmacist, one Technician, and five Healthcare Advisors.

The role focuses on accurate dispensing, stock control, blister-pack preparation, and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in Tony Walsh Allcare Pharmacy, in Merrion

This is a 40- hour permanent position with the stores opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a Store Manager,1 Relief Pharmacist, 1 Technician and 5 Healthcare Advisors.
