Job summary

Uniphar is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our Hickeys Monkstown pharmacy. This 32‑hour, 4‑day permanent role operates with hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. The team includes a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support and 2 Technicians.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome, with experience in busy dispensaries and familiarity with MPS systems advantageous. Uniform provided and employee benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as needed.
• Prepare blister packs and process/tracking claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
