Job summary

Uniphar invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician at Hickeys in Fortunestown, Tallaght. The role is a 24-hour, 3-day-per-week position with store hours 9am–7pm (Mon–Fri) and 9am–6pm on Saturdays; Sundays are closed.

The team includes a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 3 Technicians. Benefits include competitive hourly rates, staff discount, bike-to-work, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• Newly qualified technicians welcome to apply.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
