Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy invites applications for a Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor to join Allcare Pharmacy - Tony Walsh Merrion. This is a full-time, permanent position in a community pharmacy environment.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, advising on product ranges, stock control, and maintaining high standards of merchandising under the guidance of the Managing Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality preferable
• Cashier experience an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to use discretion when addressing customer queries and to treat customer/patient information confidentially
• Good attention to detail is essential
• Organised with a proven ability to multi-task successfully under pressure
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Basic IT skills are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice to customers across all product ranges in the Pharmacy
• Maintain stock control including rotation, levels, suppliers and accurate delivery details
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times
• Work as part of the Pharmacy team, flexible and adaptable in all areas of operation
• Maintain cooperative professional relationships with colleagues
• Fulfil requests for over the counter medicines using WWHAM and refer to the Pharmacist when appropriate
• Ensure security and correct handling of cash and receipts
• Keep the Pharmacy clean and report Health and Safety issues promptly
• Participate in training and development programmes and proactively develop the role function
• Take on any other duties as required
