Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy Blanchardstown is seeking a Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor to deliver excellent customer service and provide advice on all product ranges in-store. You will maintain stock, assist in merchandising, and work closely with the Managing Pharmacist to ensure high standards of care.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to multi-task across duties in a busy community pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality preferable.
• Cashier experience an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to use discretion when addressing customer queries and to treat customer/patient information confidentially.
• Good attention to detail is essential.
• Organised with a proven ability to multi-task under pressure.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice to customers across all product ranges in the Pharmacy.
• Maintain good stock control including rotation of stock and suppliers as directed by the Managing Pharmacist.
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times.
• Work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable.
• Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with colleagues.
• Fulfil requests for over the counter medicines using appropriate questioning and refer to the Pharmacist when needed.
• Ensure security procedures for cash handling are followed.
• Keep the Pharmacy clean and tidy and report Health and Safety issues.
• Participate in training and development programmes offered by the Pharmacy.
• Any other duties as required.
