Job summary

Anderson McQue is seeking a Refrigeration Utilities Technician for a biopharmaceutical site in Ireland. You will maintain water/air cooled chillers and various AC units, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation in a GMP environment.

You will work with maintenance planners, liaise with contractors, and participate in training to meet site requirements. Strong communication and team skills are essential for success in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Refrigeration trade qualification or equivalent with refrigeration exposure.
• 2+ years maintenance/troubleshooting in Pharma with GMP familiarity.
• Hold a valid Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 certificate.
• NFQ Level 5 qualification.
• Experience with water-cooled and air-cooled chillers and AC units.
• Familiar with major chiller brands York, Sabroe, Trane, Carrier, Daikin.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on site refrigeration equipment as per SOP.
• Troubleshoot utilities refrigeration equipment as directed.
• Complete site documentation before/after tasks per SOP.
• Liaise with Contractors during planned service maintenance.
• Participate in training and ensure ITPs meet site requirements.
• Carry out risk assessments for maintenance tasks.
• Update maintenance task lists to remain current.
• Ensure compliance with site EHS rules and guidelines.
