Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Refrigeration Technician for permanent, full-time work at Grangecastle, Clondalkin. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of site refrigeration equipment, including water/air-cooled chillers and various AC units.

The technician will troubleshoot, document tasks per SOPs, and coordinate with contractors. Ideal candidates will have an F-GAS 2079 certificate, a suitable refrigeration trade qualification (or equivalent), and 2+ years of pharma GMP maintenance

Qualifications

F-GAS 2079 certificate is required.
Trade qualification in refrigeration or industrial electrician with refrigeration experience.
2+ years maintenance and troubleshooting in pharma GMP environments.
NFQ level 5 minimum.
Experience with water-cooled and air-cooled chillers and AC units.
Experience with major chillers (York/Sabroe/Trane/Carrier/Daikin) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on site refrigeration equipment.
Troubleshoot problems with refrigeration equipment as directed by site supervisors.
Complete site documentation before and after tasks per SOP.
Liaise with contractors during planned service maintenance.
Participate in training and ensure ITP meets site requirements.
Conduct risk assessments for maintenance task lists and keep them valid.
Update MTLs to reflect site needs and findings.
Review EWI/SOP to ensure documents are current and valid.
Work on site in accordance with Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
