Pharma Procurement Strategist

Job summary

MeiraGTx is seeking a procurement professional to support Shannon manufacturing, covering services, materials and CAPEX in a GxP environment. You will collaborate with key stakeholders located in Shannon, UK and US to secure value, stable supply and compliant supplier arrangements.

The role requires agile sourcing, contract review, cost savings delivery and strong supplier management to support continuity of critical supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to GMP & GDP regulatory expectations.
• Strong analytical and project management skills are required.
• Experience across services, capital equipment, raw materials and finished pharmaceutical products; ability to review and negotiate contracts.
• Experience with GxP-regulated contracts; knowledge of change control and quality interfaces.
• ERP/MRP system knowledge and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and source suppliers through Tendering, evaluation and negotiation.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery, service levels and other commercial terms.
• Identify and implement cost savings and procurement improvements.
• Review supplier agreements for scope, pricing, terms and renewal.
• Manage supplier relationships and continuity, monitor performance and risk.
• Coordinate input from Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Finance and Legal for clear requirements and compliant agreements.
