Job summary

Kenny, Whelan & Company Limited is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to provide engineering support and technical leadership within the Capital Projects Group on site. The role covers design, installation, commissioning and qualification of HVAC systems across multiple projects in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, construction, validation, production and maintenance teams to ensure projects are delivered safely,

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in pharma/biotech or life sciences.
• Experience delivering capital projects in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with cleanrooms, air-handling systems, chilled water systems and building management systems.
• Knowledge of GMP, ASHRAE, ISPE and site-specific engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple capital projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules and technical specifications.
• Coordinate activities between internal stakeholders, engineering teams and external contractors.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to project management teams.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews and risk assessments.
• Design, review and optimise HVAC systems for pharmaceutical facilities.
• Support commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
• Coordinate BMS integration and site systems activities.
