Job summary

Amgen Dun Laoghaire (ADL) is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to improve asset uptime and maintainability across the aseptic drug product facility. You will develop robust reliability frameworks, reduce downtime, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Quality.

The role emphasizes data-driven maintenance, preventive and predictive strategies, and continuous improvement, with a focus on right-first-time execution, safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a GMP manufacturing environment in maintenance or reliability.
• Ability to work across functional boundaries and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support Drug Product manufacturing in Vial and Syringe filling plants.
• Develop and modernise the maintenance PMO programme and use digital tools to enhance predictability.
• Employ analytics to assess performance and identify improvements for equipment reliability and maintenance execution.
• Develop multi-year reliability roadmap and ensure flawless execution with cross-functional partners.
• Analyse equipment data to identify chronic issues and implement sustainable improvements.
• Collaborate with system owners to define maintenance scopes and plans.
• Prioritise reliability-critical work to deliver right-first-time outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and embed standard work and documentation.
• Lead system improvements, create specifications and SOPs.
• Solve complex problems, manage projects, and optimise asset lifecycle.
