Job summary

Amgen Dun Laoghaire (ADL) is seeking an Inspection & Packaging Engineer to support expansion of the plant. You will own packaging and inspection equipment, drive performance analysis, and manage life-cycle reliability for equipment within a GMP sterile manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong problem solving, engineering know-how, and collaboration with Process Teams to implement system improvements and ensure minimal downtime. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical or Chemical preferred).
• Manufacturing experience in medical device or pharmaceutical inspection or packaging.
• Experience in change control, non-conformance, corrective and preventative actions, and validation practices.
• Ability to influence the development of business area strategy and engineering/equipment strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support a safe working environment by complying with EH&S rules and regulations.
• Ownership of equipment/systems in a GMP manufacturing setting.
• Monitor day-to-day performance of the assigned system.
• Perform data trend analysis of performance to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Communicate with operations to keep them informed on engineering activities and investigations.
• Identify opportunities for equipment/process improvements and support preventative maintenance.
