Job summary

TTM Healthcare are partnering with a leading provider of care for people with intellectual disabilities to recruit a Person in Charge / Manager for a residential service in Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

The role requires 3 years of supervisory or management experience in health and social care, QQI Level 6 in management, and a full driving licence. You will oversee service delivery, staff development and compliance, with a strong focus on quality and values.

Qualifications

• 3rd Level Qualification or QQI level 6 in health and social care field.
• 3 years experience in a supervisory or management role in a health and social care setting.
• QQI Level 6 in Management course completed.
• Social Care experience in an intellectual disability service.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Experience working with behaviours which challenge is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the residential service in line with organisational strategies and values.
• Ensure effective management of the service and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support staff development, training and performance, promoting quality care.
