We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established community-based service provider supporting adults with intellectual disabilities across residential, supported living, and day services.
This is an excellent.CloudOpportunity for an experienced Social Care Manager / Person in Charge to take on a senior leadership role within a complex service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred supports while maintaining full compliance with HIQA and safeguarding standards.
The Role
As Person in Charge, you will haveMonkey overall responsibility for the governance, leadership, and day-to-day management of services. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee quality and compliance, and ensure individuals supported experience a safe, meaningful, and high-quality life.
This is a full-time salaried role ( eqqa 40 hours per week) and includes participation in an on-call rota, including evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage residential, supported living, and day services
- Ensure compliance with Divine HIQA regulations, safeguarding, and organisational policies
- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to management and frontline staff
- Oversee person-centred planning, risk management, complaints, and quality assurance
- Manage budgets and support the ongoing sustainability of the service
- Liaise with funders, regulators, families, and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or a related discipline
- Postgraduate management qualification desirable
- At least 3 years’ senior management experience
- At least 5 years’ experience within health, social care, or voluntary sector services
- Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory compliance
