Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is seeking a Person in Charge (Social Care Leader) in Galway to lead a well-established service delivering community-based supports for people with an intellectual disability across Galway City and County.

The PIC will report to the Assistant Director of Operational Supports & Services and ensure the service operates in line with the organisation's strategic plan, providing high-quality, compliant care for service users.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in health or social care.
• Professional degree (min level 7) in Applied Social Studies or Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric Nursing with NMB registration.
• Relevant management qualification.
• Proven track record of managing a residential service meeting quality and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of budget management.
• Experience of report writing, personal support plans, people, and roster management.
• Full current driving license with access to your own vehicle.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of legislative/regulatory requirements and responsibilities.

Cpl Healthcare are delighted to announce that they are seeking applications for a Person in Charge (Social Care Leader) in Galway. This role is within a well established organisation which provides a wide range of high-quality community-based services for people with an intellectual disability throughout Galway City and County. These services include day, residential, short breaks/ respite, supported self-directed living (SSDL) programmes, community support, rehabilitative training, and multi-disciplinary supports.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Assistant Director of Operational Supports & Services. The PIC will ensure that the service is run in accordance to the organisations strategic plan to provide exceptional care for service users.

Role Requirements:
