Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) invites applications for a Person in Charge to lead the Residential Service in Dunshane Naas, Co. Kildare. This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) with a competitive salary.

You will need a Level 7 QQI qualification (BA in Social Care Studies or Social Care Management or equivalent) and substantial senior management experience, including strategic planning, in health/social care or the voluntary sector. Garda Vetting and references apply.

Qualifications

• Level 7 QQI qualification in social care or management.
• Postgraduate qualification in social care management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years senior management experience including strategic planning.
• Minimum 5 years in health/social care or voluntary sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Residential Service in Dunshane Naas.
• Strategic planning and concurrent team leadership.
• Ensure Garda Vetting, police clearance and references are in place.

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

We are currently recruiting for a Person in Charge to lead our Residential Service in Dunshane Naas Co Kildare.

• Location: Dunshane Naas Co Kildare
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: Fulltime - 40 hours per week
• Salary: €57,173 - €67,130 per annum (plus on call allowance of €3,904 per annum)

What you will need:

• A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies, Social Care Management or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care.
• Post graduate qualification ideally in Social Care Management or Management Qualification.
• At least 3 years of senior management experience at a similar level of responsibility including demonstrative experience strategic planning.
• At least 5 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector.
• Possess the competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.
