Job summary

Ethos Care Group is seeking an experienced nursing leader to take on the role of Person in Charge (PIC) and lead a dedicated nursing home team. You will oversee delivery of safe, compassionate, and person-centred care while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

You will work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of the home, drive continuous improvement, and foster a positive environment for residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Active NMBI registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Extensive experience in senior nursing or leadership roles in residential care.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and healthcare compliance.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated healthcare leader who has:

• Active NMBI registration as a Registered Nurse


• Significant experience in senior nursing, management, or leadership roles within residential care


• Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and healthcare compliance requirements


• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams


• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills


• A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working as a Person in Charge or Assistant Director of Nursing is highly desirable


• Strong understanding of nursing home operations, governance, and quality improvement processes


• Experience managing teams within a long-term care setting


• Ability to balance operational responsibilities with a commitment to resident wellbeing and care excellence
