Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Healthcare Assistant for a Nursing home in Co Cork, Ireland. You will support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

You will build relationships with residents, assist with mobility and personal care, and help organise social activities while maintaining HIQA standards. QQI Level 5 or equivalent is required, fluent English, and Garda Vetting. References will be checked.

Requirements
  • Healthcare support knowledge (FETAC/QQI Level 5 or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and responsibility in daily duties.

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment is desirable, with a good understanding of HIQA standards and their application in practice.
