Job summary

Aviva Ireland is seeking a Head of Pensions Policy, Governance & Oversight to lead our pensions governance framework in Dublin. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development & Assurance, you will shape policy, ensure regulatory compliance and deliver value for customers, trustees and stakeholders.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders, trustees and regulators to drive strategic regulatory engagement, oversee governance and risk frameworks, and shape the future direction of pensions

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within pensions, governance, risk, regulatory affairs or a similarly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of pensions regulation and governance frameworks, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives across multiple business areas.
• Experience overseeing complex risk, control and governance frameworks while balancing regulatory and commercial priorities.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to engage effectively with executive leaders, trustees and regulators.
