Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Junior Pensions Consultant to help members understand pensions, life assurance and illness benefits, and to support their financial wellbeing. The role focuses on presenting complex information in an engaging way across multiple schemes.

You will deliver in-person and virtual sessions, explain options clearly, and contribute to member engagement campaigns, with opportunities for career development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• QFA qualification is required.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging presentations to pension scheme members both in person and virtually.
• Explain pension options and retirement processes in a clear, accessible way.
• Support member engagement campaigns and answer follow‑up queries about AVCs.
• Adapt communication style to suit audiences from site-based employees to nearing retirement.
• Build strong relationships with members and internal teams to ensure a high‑quality experience.
• Help shape engaging communication materials that simplify pensions and financial planning.
