Job summary

Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd. is hiring a Retirement Support Consultant to guide clients approaching retirement and those retired through personalised financial advice.

You will review pensions, investments and AVCs, conduct full financial fact finds via Teams, and provide compliant recommendations tailored to each client’s journey. The role requires extensive initial training and ongoing professional development, with flexible working-from-home options and a strong focus on client

Qualifications

• Full QFA, required on commencement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
• Knowledge of the risk-control and regulatory environment.
• Experience of dealing with elderly clients is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Explain the retirement journey and key decisions for clients before and after retirement.
• Engage with AVC clients, answer queries and review arrangements.
• Conduct financial health checks reviewing pensions, savings and investments.
• Complete full financial fact finds with clients via Microsoft Teams and conduct telephone reviews.
• Assess client needs and provide clear, personalised and compliant advice.
• Help clients implement retirement plans, including setting up AVC/Investment and life policies.
• Handle client queries efficiently and compliantly, including policy values and terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Comply with risk-control, regulatory, professional, legal and policy requirements.
• Maintain awareness of pension, investment and life product developments.
• Achieve targets set by Head of Retirement & Investment.
• Carry out other duties reasonably required by the Company.
