Job summary

The Hermitage Clinic is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Cath Lab to deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced cardiology environment. You will work as part of a skilled team, providing patient-centred care before, during, and after procedures.

Applicants should be registered with NMBI, have at least one year of Cath Lab nursing experience, and hold current BLS/ACLS; a supportive role developing practice and education is expected.

Qualifications

• Be registered in the general division of the NMBI Register.
• At least one year post-registration Cath Lab nursing experience.
• Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) course.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the nursing team on day duty and perform duties as allocated by the CNM2.
• Deliver skilled practical care to Cardiology patients and participate in planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.
• Be willing to work as recovery, circulating and scrub nurse within the Cath Lab.
• Provide patient education before and after procedures.
• Document all necessary care given.
• Be in charge of the Unit in CNM's absence when requested.
