Job summary

Gilligan Black Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Payroll Supervisor for a leading Facilities Management organisation in North Dublin. The role involves managing a high-volume payroll operation on a fortnightly basis and leading a team of three payroll professionals, with potential growth.

Day-to-day includes ownership of the fortnightly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance with PAYE/PRSI/USC, and acting as subject matter expert on Irish payroll legislation.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue rules.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a payroll team.

Responsibilities

Job description

This leading Facilities Management organisation in North Dublin to recruit an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join their team.

This is much more than a payroll processing role. You will take responsibility for a high-volume payroll operation on a fortnightly basis, while leading a team of three payroll professionals, with the potential for the team to grow further.

Typically your day to day will involve:

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of three payroll professionals, with potential responsibility for additional team members as the business grows.
  • Take overall ownership of the fortnightly payroll process
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately, efficiently and within strict deadlines.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Irish payroll legislation, employment legislation, Revenue requirements and statutory regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with PAYE, PRSI, USC, pension deductions, statutory leave and other payroll-related requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, systems and controls.
  • Produce payroll reports and analysis for senior management.
  • Manage payroll queries and ensure issues are resolved quickly and professionally.

You will ideally have Significant experience managing a high-volume payroll function. Proven experience leading and developing a payroll team. Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, Revenue requirements and employment legislation.
