Qualifications

  • Must hold IPASS or CIPP certification.
  • Experience with UK and ROI payrolls is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for UK and ROI employees end-to-end.
  • Input, validate and reconcile payroll data accurately.
  • Handle manual calculations and payroll components (salary, overtime, bonuses, etc.).
  • Support BACS preparation and payroll reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and ROI tax legislation and auto-enrolment.
  • Administer employee benefits and pension contributions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in payroll systems.
  • Assist with audits, internal controls and GDPR compliance.

Summary

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join a major construction and engineering organisation in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in UK and ROI payrolls who is passionate about accuracy and compliance. You’ll play a key role in processing payroll efficiently while working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver a high-quality service.

Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for UK and ROI employees, managing end-to-end payroll cycles.
  • Input, validate, and reconcile payroll data accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle manual calculations when required and process payroll components such as salaries, overtime, bonuses, and statutory payments.
  • Support the preparation of BACS files and payroll reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and ROI tax legislation, auto-enrolment, and statutory requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits as per company policies and process pension contributions and deductions.
  • Use payroll systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Assist with audits, internal checks, and GDPR compliance.
Must-have Requirements
  • Professional payroll qualification (IPASS or CIPP certified).
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
