Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Dublin is expanding its Outsourced Payroll Team and looking for a Payroll Assistant Manager / Manager. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end payroll operations while ensuring compliance and accuracy. Key responsibilities include processing payroll for multiple clients, coordinating payroll data preparation, and being the subject matter expert in payroll tax matters. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, knowledge of PAYE, and familiarity with relevant payroll tools. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role.
• Familiarity with ROS and EFT processes.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Process payrolls for multiple clients on weekly, fortnightly and monthly schedules.
• Act as subject matter expert on payroll tax matters within the Employment Tax Team.
• Produce payroll runs, statutory documentation and records.

Skills

Previous payroll experience

Detailed knowledge of PAYE

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Curiosity about AI and its application to payroll
