Job summary

Sysco Ireland is hiring a Payroll Analyst on a 9-12 month contract in Newcastle West, Limerick. The role focuses on processing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls, managing time and attendance and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be IPASS qualified, detail-oriented and able to work to tight deadlines, with strong communication skills and experience with Excel and external payroll providers.

Responsibilities

• Processing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Collating timesheets, holiday entitlements, reconciling hours weekly.
• Co-ordination of timesheets processing and management of Time & Attendance within TMS including absences.
• Coordinating new hire set ups, leavers, time and attendance entries (TMS) and related payroll transactions.
• Provide direct customer service to employees with timely responses to queries.
• Processing statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) in line with legislation.
• Ensure compliance with payroll SOX processes and company guidelines.
• Liaising with Revenue and external payroll provider CORE as necessary.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation, pensions, BIK and other additions/deductions.

Payroll Analyst (9-12 Month Contract) – Newcastle West, Limerick

• Have previous payroll experience

Key Accountabilities:

• Processing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls
• Collating timesheets, holiday entitlements, reconciling hours on a weekly basis
• Co-ordination of timesheets processing and management of the Time & Attendance within TMS including all absences.
• Coordinating new hire set ups, leavers, time and attendance entries (TMS), as well as various other payroll/personnel transactions and adjustments
• Provide direct customer service to employees with high quality, professional and timely responses to queries
• Processing of all statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) in line with prevailing legislation
• Ensure compliance with payroll SOX processes, and company guidelines
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, payroll processes, pensions, BIK and other additions and deductions
• Effectively working with an external payroll provider (CORE)
• Liaising with Revenue and various third-party providers as necessary

Requirements:

• Previous IRE payroll experience essential
• IPASS Qualified essential
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate Excel including formatting and data validation & analysis
• Possess the ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
• Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building abilities
