Job summary

WG NSTAR in Ireland seeks a qualified PAT Tester to operate in a semiconductor cleanroom. You will perform PAT testing, follow SOPs for safety and quality, and support manufacturing throughput while developing your skills in a highly technical environment.

You should be an NFQ Level 6+ electrician, comfortable in a controlled cleanroom, proficient with MS Office, and a strong team player committed to accuracy, organization, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician (NFQ Level 6 or higher).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a controlled cleanroom and wear PPE.
• 100% compliance with safety and protocol specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAT testing in all cleanroom areas.
• Coordinate equipment activities with colleagues, clients and vendors.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Manage and report on internal and external KPIs; formulate corrective actions.
• Maintain cleanroom and company protocols.
• Ensure safety and quality standards.
• Perform quality checks per process specifications.
• Use MS Office and in-house system as required.

The Purpose of the Role

As a PAT Tester, you will perform daily PAT Testing in a semiconductor cleanroom environment while supporting the Customer in key areas throughout the manufacturing process. Your goal will be to adhere to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and quality. Your success will contribute to the facilities' overall throughput while simultaneously developing your own skills in a coveted and highly technical industry.

Work Schedule

39-hour regular working week (Monday to Friday)

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform PAT testing in all cleanroom areas within a timely manner
• Coordinate activities on equipment with colleagues, clients, and other vendors

Role Requirements

• You are a fully qualified and a time served electrician (NFQ Level 6 or higher)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment, which will involve the wearing of a gown and relevant personal protective equipment
• 100% compliance with all safety and protocol specs and regulations

Physical Requirements

• Have strong physical stamina to have the ability to stand, stoop, walk and reach for the duration of an 8-hour shift (breaks excluded)
