Job summary

Red Chair Recruitment is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor for a busy machinery company in Killarney. You will handle picking, packing and ordering, and liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth parts flow on a daily basis.

The role requires strong stock control, organisational skills, attention to detail, and a full clean driving licence. It is a permanent, full-time, on-site position with a salary of €35,000–€40,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts, warehouse, machinery or automotive environments.
• Strong organisational and stock control skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and dispatching parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Managing the day-to-day operation and organisation of the parts warehouse.
• Maintaining accurate stock records on the company system.
• Monitoring stock levels and reorder points to ensure availability of key parts.
• Raising purchase orders and liaising directly with suppliers.
• Receiving deliveries, checking goods against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
• Dealing directly with customers, suppliers and colleagues regarding parts enquiries and orders.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and investigating any stock discrepancies.
• Ensuring the warehouse is maintained to a high standard, with parts clearly labelled and easily accessible.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring orders are processed promptly and accurately.
