Job summary

Donegal Centre for Independent Living CLG is seeking a Personal Assistant for the Carrigart/Cresslough area on part-time hours. The PA will support the Leader with a range of personal, educational, workplace, family and social tasks in line with the social model of disability.

Benefits include flexible hours, some weekend work, and the potential for pay progression. Garda Vetting is required before starting with DCIL's Service Users.

Qualifications

• QQI modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person (or be willing to complete these while working with us).
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Share DCIL’s passion to follow the social model of disability.

Responsibilities

• Assist Leader with personal, educational, workplace, family and social supports.
• Provide personal care and household assistance under the Leader’s direction.
• Support inclusion and independence in the Carrigart/Cresslough area.
