Depaul is hiring a Part Time Kitchen Assistant at Back Lane, Dublin. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, supporting the catering team and ensuring HACCP standards are met. It is a permanent, on-site position with 28 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have catering experience, basic food hygiene certification, and familiarity with kitchen safety. Training will be provided as part of a values-led organisation helping homelessness services.

Qualifikationen

• One year catering experience required (Essential)
• One year’s paid or voluntary experience in homelessness field desirable
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Essential)
• Working knowledge of HACCP desirable
• Understanding health and safety requirements in a kitchen within a residential setting
• Understanding of basic kitchen hygiene
• Teamwork and respect for service users in line with Depaul values
• Proficient IT use including email in a professional capacity

Aufgaben

• Maintain high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
• Assist and maintain order in catering on site
• Undertake a range of kitchen duties including cleaning surfaces, equipment, utensils and crockery
• Take delivery and storage of food orders
• Work with catering team to ensure health and safety and HACCP compliance
