Job summary

Company Details Confidential in Ireland is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to support everyday shop operations and deliver friendly, professional service. You will join a small, welcoming team and assist with deli counter duties, stock replenishment and front-of-house support to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Full training will be provided; a flexible shift pattern including weekends is expected. Prior deli or food service experience is advantageous but not essential, with opportunities

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for every customer
• Operate the checkout and handle cash/card payments accurately
• Serve customers at the deli counter and prepare food to a high standard
• Replenish shelves and ensure products are well presented
• Check stock levels and assist with deliveries
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation
• Prepare and display fresh food and deli products
• Assist with opening and/or closing duties

Job Description

The RoleAs a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the shop. You will be part of a friendly team and will help ensure that customers receive a welcoming, efficient and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive experience for every customer
• Operating the checkout and handling cash and card payments accurately
• Serving customers at the deli counter and preparing food to a high standard
• Replenishing shelves and ensuring products are well presented
• Checking stock levels and assisting with deliveries
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the shop
• Preparing and displaying fresh food and deli products
• Assisting with opening and/or closing duties
• Working effectively as part of a team
• Following food safety, health and safety and company procedures
• Carrying out other reasonable duties required to support the smooth running of the shop
