Recruitment Plus is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our client in Castleblayney, Co Monaghan on a part‑time basis (4 hours per day, 5 days a week). This hands‑on role covers payroll, HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and HR systems, with a focus on people practices and compliance.

With around 100 employees, you will own the HR function, support managers, and help develop and improve people practices while maintaining confidentiality and professional

Qualifications

• Experience as generalist HR manager or senior HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience with payroll management.
• Experience with HR administration and record-keeping.
• Experience handling employee relations.
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work confidentially and professionally.
• Able to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Attention to detail and IT systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing and cover payroll duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR files.
• Assist HR administration and ensure compliance with Irish law.
• Liaise with Finance, Revenue and external payroll providers.
• Oversee Softworks HRIS and Employee Self‑Service system.
• Ensure up-to-date employee information and on-boarding/off-boarding.
