Xpress Electrical, an SME electrical and LED wholesale business based in Artane, Dublin 5, is seeking an experienced self-employed bookkeeper or bookkeeping business to manage day-to-day accounts and ERP records on an ongoing basis.

The role is approximately 1 day per week, with invoicing for time worked. The successful candidate will own the bookkeeping function, handle Irish VAT/ROS, and work on bank reconciliations and ERP records at our premises.

Qualifikationen

• Irish SME bookkeeping experience (3 years, required).
• Irish VAT/ROS experience (1 year, required).
• Experience with Intact, Sage or similar ERP/accounting software.
• Intact experience would be particularly useful.
• Strong bank, customer and supplier reconciliations.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of the bookkeeping function.

Aufgaben

• Bank and payment reconciliations.
• Correct allocation of customer and supplier payments.
• Maintaining accurate customer and supplier balances.
• Processing and reviewing purchase and sales transactions.
• Nominal ledger coding and account reconciliation.
• VAT preparation and ROS submissions.
• Maintaining accounts to trial balance.
• Customer debtor follow-up and account reconciliation.
• Investigating and correcting discrepancies in the accounts.
• Keeping ERP records and supporting documentation accurate and organised.
• Assisting with stock and transaction records within the ERP system.
• Payroll administration may be added over time.
