Job summary

Armont Recruitment is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a finance business with operations across Ireland and the UK. The role offers remote work with an in-person meeting in the Dublin area approximately once per week.

You will manage accounts payable and receivable, maintain accurate records and support the preparation of company accounts, with potential to develop into broader accounting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is essential.
• Strong Xero experience is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
• Experience with P&L and balance sheet prep is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Full Irish driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Support preparation of company accounts.
• Liaise with colleagues across Irish operations.
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities as the role develops.
