Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Location: Millstreet, Co. Cork (Commutable from Mallow, Macroom, Killarney)

Hours: Flexible Part-Time hours

Salary: €15-20 P/H (Negotiable DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, high-calibre Senior Bookkeeper to join a well-established client based in Millstreet, Co. Cork. Operating from a quiet, independent office environment, this role requires a self-motivated, assertive individual capable of handling high volume and managing significant transactional amounts with precision and confidence.

This is initially a part-time position with flexibility in working hours and offering potential to transition into a full-time role further down the line.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end bookkeeping management using Sage 50.

• Handling high volumes of transactions and processing large amounts accurately.

• Reconciling bank accounts and monitoring cash flow.

• Preparing VAT returns and payroll administration.

• Maintaining precise audit trails and financial records.

Requirements:

• Mandatory: Proven experience and expertise in Sage 50 is strictly required.

• Strong, resilient character with the confidence to handle high-volume and high-value transactions independently.

• Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working autonomously in a quiet office environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
