Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland operates an after-school program in Carrigaline, delivering quality care for primary school children. The role involves supervising activities, helping with homework, and leading crafts and group games across indoor and outdoor settings.

You will work Monday to Friday with sessions from 7:30am-8:40am and 1:20pm-6pm. Garda vetting and two written references are required before starting; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
• At least 2 written references checks before starting.
• SNA Experience Essential.
• Basic knowledge of child development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Show energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
