Job summary

John Madden & Associates in Kinvara, South Galway, appoint an Accounts Administrator on a part-time basis (three days per week) to oversee daily, monthly and annual financial software systems (QuickBooks).

The successful candidate will have 3 years accounts experience, fluent English, and strong IT and interpersonal skills, including customer relations and organisation. Salary is €20.00-€25.00 per hour for about 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant accounts experience
• Fluent English
• Excellent financial and IT skills
• Experience in managing customer relationships
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Process verify and validate supplier, purchase and sales invoices
• Process and collection of payments from customers and expenses
• Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries and month end reports
• Process monthly vendor payment run on online banking for EFT approval
• Prepare financial reports for review with management
• Prepare and submit VAT, VIES, Intrastat, PAYE on ROS
• Prepare and finalise end of year accounts as required by the accountant
• Managing EPOS and stock control on EPOS software
