Job summary

Comeragh Machinery & Auto Repairs is offering a Construction Plant Fitter Apprenticeship in Ireland. This role provides hands-on training while you learn to service, maintain and repair forklifts and other vehicles.

You will complete a 4-year programme with on- and off-the-job training, including travel to designated SOLAS Centres. Full drivers license or learners permit is required, and prior experience is not essential.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and keen to learn.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Carry out servicing and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Use modern workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
