Job summary

Connolly's RED MILLS is looking for a motivated Apprentice Maintenance Fitter to join its Maintenance team in Ireland. This apprenticeship offers a structured four-year program, providing on-the-job training alongside experienced professionals and leading to a QQI Level 6 qualification.

The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in mechanical engineering and be motivated to learn. Throughout the program, apprentices will develop practical skills, technical knowledge, and gain valuable experience in a modern manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in mechanical engineering and maintenance.
• Commitment to a four-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and maintenance of machinery.
• Gain experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Monitor equipment performance with Computerised Maintenance Management System.
