Paediatric Community Nursing is seeking a nurse to care for a child with complex needs at home in Abbeyleix during the day. You will provide one-to-one care in a family home, with the same child on every shift, four 8-hour day shifts per week.

Full clinical training in tracheostomy care, epilepsy and PEG feeding is provided, along with ongoing support from the paediatric nursing team. A driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Formación

• Experience caring for children.
• RGN/RCN or RNID with paediatric experience welcomed.
• A paediatric registration is not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-to-one paediatric home nursing for the child.
• Follow the care plan and safety protocols.
• Maintain clear communication with family and nursing team.

You do not need a paediatric qualification

Experience of caring for children is essential. A paediatric registration is not. If you are an RGN or RNID with solid paediatric experience, in hospital or in the community, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• RGN, RCN or RNID
• Active NMBI registration
• Experience of paediatric care
• Comfortable working alone in a family home
• A full driving licence is preferred

What we offer

• €24.15 to €32.00 per hour
• Full clinical training and induction before your first shift
