Job summary

Paediatric Community Nursing is hiring nurses for one-to-one home nursing across South County Dublin. You can work day or night shifts, full-time or part-time, in families' homes with the same child, ensuring continuity of care.

You’ll be matched to a child near your location, with comprehensive training in paediatric care, tracheostomy, PEG feeding, and ongoing support from a Clinical Nurse Manager on each shift. Prior paediatric experience is essential; paediatric registration is not required.

About This Opportunity

Days or nights, full-time or part-time. €24.15 to €32.00 per hour.

Across South County Dublin there are children with complex care needs who are at home with their families rather than on a hospital ward. That is only possible because a nurse is with them, and we need more nurses.

This is one-to-one nursing in a family home. We match you to a child near where you live, and you stay with that child. You know their baseline, you recognise a bad day before it arrives, and their parents trust you enough to leave the room.

Hours

• Day shifts and night shifts
• Full-time or part-time

You do not need a paediatric qualification

Experience of caring for children is essential. A paediatric registration is not. If you are an RGN or RNID with solid paediatric experience, in hospital or in the community, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• RGN, RCN or RNID with active NMBI registration
• Experience of paediatric care
• Comfortable working alone in a family home, by day or overnight
• A full driving licence widens the cases we can offer you, and is essential for some
