Job summary

Dexcom, a global leader in continuous glucose monitoring, seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the shift team. You will oversee equipment technicians, manage maintenance tasks, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to sustain high‑reliability manufacturing operations.

The role is fully onsite with a 12‑hour day shift pattern (Fri–Sun and alternating Thursdays), requiring hands-on leadership, safety compliance, and strong communication across departments.

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 7/8 qualification and 5–8 years related experience.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience in a technical role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and shift reports.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise equipment technicians during the assigned shift, ensuring safety and quality.
• Review PM and CM activities in Maximo for maintenance oversight.
• Delegate preventive maintenance tasks and oversee corrective maintenance.
• Review and approve technician time and attendance records.
• Supervise projects like layout moves and validation reports.
• Deliver monthly performance updates to technicians.
• Coordinate or conduct technician training as needed.
• Work with Production Supervisor to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Provide hands-on support in escalation scenarios and critical decisions.
• Maintain department KPIs (OEE, Yield) and safety protocol compliance.
