Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in Athenry, Ireland is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead equipment technicians on the weekend day shift. You will oversee PM/CM activities, review maintenance in Maximo, and ensure safety and quality on the packaging line.

You will coordinate cross‑functional projects, monitor OEE and yield, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring staff. This on-site role requires PLC/automation knowledge and strong technical writing skills to maintain equipment documentation.

Qualifications

NFQ Level 7 or 8 qualification with 5–8 years of related experience.
Experience with PLC and automated production equipment.
Strong reading and writing of technical manufacturing documents.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate equipment technicians during the shift.
Review PM and CM activities in Maximo as maintenance oversight.
Delegate preventative maintenance tasks and oversee corrective maintenance.
Review and approve technician time and attendance.
Supervise projects such as layout moves, equipment assembly, and validation report execution.
Deliver monthly performance updates through one-on-one meetings with technicians.
Coordinate technician training as needed.
Collaborate with Production Supervisor to ensure smooth shift operations.
Maintain and report on OEE, Yield, and related KPIs.
Ensure safety procedures and LOTO compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for equipment deployment.
Maintain equipment documentation.
