Job summary

Center Parcs Longford Forest is seeking an Outdoor Pursuits Team Leader to oversee and develop our Instructors and ensure safe, engaging activity sessions for guests. You’ll lead day-to-day operations, coordinate gear and facilities, and uphold high guest-care standards across all sessions.

The role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays with a guaranteed minimum of hours. A Sunday premium applies and benefits include free day passes, staff discounts, and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff and managing attendance and wellbeing.

Outdoor Pursuits Team Leader – Longford Forest | €17.40 per hour

Gear up for action, where fun, forest and families collide

Join our Outdoor Pursuits team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of Action Challenge and Watersports. You'll help lead and train a team of Instructors, ensuring they provide exceptional coaching and supervision for guests during activity sessions.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee instructor and product development initiatives


• Supervise daily team operations, including tracking hours, holidays and sickness


• Maintain buildings and equipment to ensure smooth activity delivery


• Uphold high standards of guest care, cleanliness and compliance with company policies


• Support in the absence of Assistant Managers when required

Your working hours

• Full-time contract


• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements

• Confident decision-making and communication skills, even under pressure


• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to support and develop teams


• Computer literate with knowledge of booking and stock systems


• Supervisory experience managing teams and volume activities in the leisure industry
