Job summary
SAP Landscapes Ltd in Kildare Town is seeking a General Operative to join the Maintenance Landscapes team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). The role involves outdoor, hands-on work with lawn care, pruning, planting and general site maintenance.
The successful candidate will work under the Maintenance Contracts Manager, with opportunities for progression and training, and will enjoy benefits such as annual bonus and pension. PPE is provided and hours are roughly 06:30–16:15 on weekdays.
Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred.
- Valid Safe Pass preferred.
- Provisional or full driving licence preferred.
- B+E licence / Tractor experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Mow, trim and edge lawns.
- Prune shrubs and hedges; maintain trees.
- Weed control and herbicide application.
- Clear litter and debris; tidy sites.
- Seed and turf lawns; paving or light civil works.
- Plant trees and shrubs; assist in planting.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
- Follow health and safety policies and site rules.
