Job summary

ICON Clinical Research Ltd is seeking a Database Developer II for an office-hybrid role in Leopardstown, Dublin 18. You will design and analyse clinical trial data, develop and maintain databases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory standards.

Strong SQL/Oracle skills, data modeling, and experience with BI/reporting tools are essential. The role requires delivering high-quality software development work, optimizing data storage, and supporting data sharing across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Extensive SQL experience (5 to 8 years) with Oracle database.
Experience using Toad, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL Developer.
Experience creating and using tables, procedures, functions, views, and materialized views.
Experience with data marts and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, OBIEE).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain databases to support clinical research projects.
Analyze data requirements with cross-functional teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
Implement data models, schemas, and structures for efficient storage and reporting.
Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
Provide troubleshooting support for database-related issues.
