Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a PL/SQL Developer with 4+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience to join our Ireland-based Public Sector & Utilities team. You will develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, reports, and ad hoc SQL solutions, collaborating with product owners, cross-functional teams and QA to deliver high-quality functionality.

You’ll emphasise database tuning, data modelling, and documentation, with knowledge of APEX/OAP beneficial and spatial extensions advantageous.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Oracle PL/SQL Developer experience
• Good understanding of source control tools in an enterprise environment
• Experience with effort estimation and requirements gathering
• Familiarity with Oracle APEX and OAP
• Completion of an Oracle Professional Certification
• Database tuning and performance monitoring skills
• Understanding of data modelling and database design
• Familiarity with preparing and maintaining technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Managing project source code and documentation
• Developing and maintaining packages for background processing and reports
• Developing and maintaining reports using PL/SQL, OAP and APEX
• Providing ad hoc reports using SQL and PL/SQL
• Analysing and resolving database issues
