Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Cork seeks an experienced Oracle Finance Lead to steer the EMEA finance workstream for a major global ERP implementation. You will align regional finance needs with the US-led global design, ensuring VAT, compliance and multi-currency support across countries.

Based in Cork, you will liaise with regional Finance teams, US programme leadership and delivery teams to deliver a compliant, scalable solution and drive regional adoption of the global template.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading Finance workstreams within large-scale Oracle ERP implementations.
  • Strong functional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and/or Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Broad knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, accounting controls, statutory compliance and financial reporting.
  • Experience delivering ERP transformation across multi-country, multi-entity and multi-currency organisations.
  • Strong understanding of EMEA VAT, statutory accounting and localisation requirements.
  • Experience translating regional requirements into practical functional designs while protecting the integrity of a global template.
  • Experience across finance data migration, testing, reconciliation, cutover and post-go-live support.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with global teams, systems integrators and US-based programme leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the EMEA finance workstream across design validation, configuration, testing, deployment, hypercare and transition to support.
  • Assess the global template against EMEA finance processes, statutory requirements, VAT obligations and local compliance needs.
  • Drive adoption of the global template while identifying and escalating justified regional or country-specific requirements.
  • Provide functional oversight across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Intercompany and financial reporting.
  • Ensure the solution supports financial controls, audit, tax, consolidation and multi-currency requirements.
  • Coordinate dependencies across Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Tax, Treasury, Supply Chain, Data, Reporting and Integration.
  • Lead regional workshops, fit-gap assessments and key design discussions.
  • Review functional specifications, configuration workbooks, localisation decisions and solution designs.
  • Define finance test scenarios and coordinate regional stakeholders through SIT, UAT, regression testing and defect resolution.
  • Support data migration, reconciliation, cutover planning, go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilisation.
  • Manage programme risks, issues and dependencies while communicating progress to regional and global leadership.

  • Knowledge of Agile or hybrid programme delivery methodologies.
