SystemsAccountants Inc. is representing a leading consultancy recruiting an Oracle EPM Solution Architect – Director to own architecture and technical direction for a global EPM Cloud transformation.

You will lead design standards, governance, and cross-functional delivery, partnering with CFO and senior stakeholders to define scalable, future-proof solutions across multiple modules and ERP landscapes.

Oracle EPM Solution Architect – Director

Location: Dublin, Ireland (relocation support available) Grade: Director+ Experience: 15+ years

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading consultancy, is mobilising a global Oracle EPM Cloud transformation and is building a senior team to deliver it. This is a rare chance to shape the architecture of an enterprise-scale finance transformation from day one, across a landscape of 50+ ERP and source systems.

As Oracle EPM Solution Architect, you will be the senior technical authority on the programme: designing the end-to-end solution, setting the standards that every workstream follows, and guiding delivery teams and client stakeholders through significant complexity.

The Role

You will own the architecture and technical direction of the Oracle EPM solution, working alongside programme leadership, finance process owners and delivery teams. You will combine deep platform expertise with the executive presence to influence at CFO and senior leadership level.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Leadership

• Design and lead Oracle EPM Cloud solutions across FCCS, PBCS (Planning), TRCS, EDMCS and related modules
• Translate complex finance requirements into scalable, integrated, future-proof solution architectures
• Make and defend key design decisions, trade-offs and roadmaps, and ensure alignment across modules

Data and Integration Architecture

• Architect a complex data and integration landscape spanning 40+ ERP and source systems
• Define integration patterns, data flows, mapping strategies and reconciliation approaches (e.g. Data Management, Data Integration, EPM Automate, REST APIs)
• Ensure data quality, lineage, performance and resilience across the end-to-end architecture

Enterprise Finance Data, Metadata and Reporting Models

• Define enterprise-wide finance data, metadata and reporting models, including the global chart of accounts, dimensional structures and hierarchies
• Establish metadata governance and master data management approaches using EDMCS
• Design consolidated management and statutory reporting frameworks that deliver a single version of the truth

Technical Leadership and Governance

• Provide technical leadership, governance and best practice across a large-scale, multi-workstream EPM programme
• Set design standards, build guidelines, quality assurance and release/change controls
• Mentor and coach solution architects, consultants and developers; act as escalation point for complex technical issues
• Partner with programme managers, client leadership and system integrators to manage risks, dependencies and delivery milestones

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to CFO-office, finance and IT leaders on EPM strategy and architecture
• Present design authority recommendations to steering committees and executive forums
• Support business development, solution shaping and proposal activity as required

Skills and Experience

• 15+ years in finance systems, EPM or enterprise performance management, with substantial time at architect or director level
• Proven experience designing and leading multiple full-lifecycle Oracle EPM Cloud implementations, ideally global in scale
• Deep, hands-on expertise across several of: FCCS, PBCS/EPBCS, TRCS, EDMCS, plus familiarity with related modules (e.g. ARCS, Narrative Reporting, FreeForm)
• Demonstrated experience architecting integrations across large, heterogeneous ERP landscapes (Oracle, SAP, and other platforms)
• Strong grounding in finance: consolidation, planning and forecasting, tax reporting, financial close and group reporting
• Track record in enterprise data modelling, metadata governance and reporting design
• Experience providing technical governance and design authority on large, multi-workstream programmes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at senior executive level
• Oracle EPM Cloud certifications
• Background in a consultancy, Big 4 or system integrator environment
• Experience of programme mobilisation and operating-model design
• Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or other finance transformation tooling
• Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent technical pedigree
